Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 10, 2026

Your records are sensitive. Pointman Claims LLC handles the personal and medical information you share during a pre-filing consultation with the seriousness it deserves — we use it only to analyze your situation and build your findings report, and we never sell it.

1. Who we are

Pointman Claims LLC (“Pointman Claims,” “we,” “us”) operates https://pointmanclaims.com and provides flat-fee pre-filing education and records analysis for veterans. We are not VA-accredited and do not represent veterans before, or submit anything to, the Department of Veterans Affairs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the consultation:

  • Contact information — your name, email, and phone number, when you request the free checklist, book a discovery call, or start a consultation.
  • Service information — what you tell us through the intake form and during calls: your branch and era of service, MOS, current rating, conditions, and what you want to accomplish.
  • Records you provide — the documents you upload for review, which may include service treatment records, military personnel records, private medical records, and prior VA decisions. These can contain sensitive medical information.
  • Payment information — your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but do not collect or store your full card number.
  • Basic usage data — standard server logs and, where applicable, cookies set by embedded tools (scheduling, forms) and by our advertising-measurement cookies (described in section 5). We do not sell this data or use it to build profiles beyond measuring our own advertising.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver your consultation and build your written findings report;
  • Communicate with you — scheduling, delivery, and email updates;
  • Process your payment;
  • Respond to your questions and provide support;
  • Improve our service and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not submit your information to the VA. You file your own claim and remain in control of it.

4. Service providers we share with

We share information only with the vendors that help us run the service, and only as needed for them to perform their function. These include:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Kit (ConvertKit) — email delivery and the welcome sequence;
  • Jotform — intake form and secure record upload (encrypted in transit and at rest);
  • Calendly — discovery-call scheduling;
  • Zoom — the findings walkthrough call;
  • Google Drive — the secure link used to receive and store the records you upload;
  • Vercel — website hosting;
  • Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement, as described in section 5.

Each provider has its own privacy and security practices. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. Advertising measurement

We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and measure whether those ads work using the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. When you take an action on our site — such as using a free tool, requesting a download, booking a call, or completing a payment — we may share that event with Meta from your browser and from our server.

Server-shared events can include your IP address, browser information, Meta's advertising cookies (_fbp/_fbc), and — when you submit a form — your email address and phone number in hashed (SHA-256) form, per Meta's customer-information specification. We never share your service or medical records, your intake responses, or the contents of any document you upload with Meta or any advertising platform. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Meta ad preferences, and browser tracking protections do not affect your ability to use this site.

6. How we protect your information

We use secure upload links rather than email for your records, limit access to the people who need it to do the work, and rely on reputable providers that encrypt data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your records and consultation materials for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterward in case you have follow-up questions or need your findings report again. You can ask us to delete your records at any time and we will do so, except where we are required to retain certain information (for example, payment records) by law.

8. Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask what information we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct or delete it;
  • Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message, or by replying to ask us to remove you.

To make any of these requests, email us at kris@pointmanclaims.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws.

9. Children

Our service is for adult veterans and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service or our providers change. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above and post the updated policy here.
